Valentines Day

Valentine's Day is great for chocolate and our littlest girl was a HUGE fan.

We just spent 5 days in Disneyland with our little ones.  When we booked the trip, we decided to surprise the kids.  They were thrilled with the surprise!

We were a little concerned that our littlest one would be afraid of the rides or the characters.  She actually LOVED the rides, dancing and waving, or oooohing and ahhhing for many different things.

The characters she more appreciated from afar.  She would wave and yell "hi" to them until about 5 feet away.  Then she would lock down her grip on Mom or Dad. 

Tinkerbelle thought it was hilarious that our little miss was so scared after being so excited to say hi.  In honor of our little-est one, Tinkerbelle suggested we do a "scared face".

 

For her first visit to Disneyland, we think she did great. 

This vacation was a wonderful break at "the happiest place on Earth."

Sledding

Baby Girl loves the snow.  She'll watch it fall from her window seat (high chair) and "oooooooh" with a pointed finger at the window.  After her maiden voyage on a sled yesterday, she loves going for a ride as long as mom or dad are close by.

Christmas

After an unexpected and crazy late Fall, we focused on making Christmas a high-quality family time.

Santa dropped off an early Christmas present for the whole family on Christmas Eve.

 

 The kids were excited because the pjs included slippers for all four sets!  (Tired but excited bunch.)

Birthday Girl

At one year old, our sweet McKinley loves:

*dancing

*reading books

*her DADDY (a serious Daddies' girl)

*stuffed animals

*raisins

*and after her first taste on her birthday, ice cream.

She is off the charts for height, 90th for weight and 50th for head circumference.

Happy birthday sweet girl.  Our family wouldn't be complete without you.

Beep Beep

After we observed little miss climbing on so many things, we decided to bring some ride on toys indoors.  She thought it was a great idea.

Baby girl has been cruising around more and more.  This past week she was trying to stand up and put her weight on on empty box that collapsed and she crashed into the boys' drum set.  Her little eyebrow took the brunt of the fall but she was up and ready to run again in no time.
